Regional Collaborative Service Delivery (RCSD) Kindergarten Support

Providence provides therapy services to kindergarten-aged children in private schools, charter schools and independent ECS programs through the Calgary and Area Regional Collaborative Service Delivery (RCSD). The RCSD is a collaborative organization involving school districts, health services, and human services sectors, providing access to a continuum of supports and services that allow children and youth to be successful at school, at home, and in their communities. Providence staff visit the child’s classroom emphasizing solutions that will help them participate more fully in daily educational activities and support students in achieving their learning goals.

Application for RCSD services must be made by the child’s school.

For parents: In order to access RCSD services for your kindergarten-aged child attending a private school, charter school or independent ECS program, speak to your child’s teacher or your school’s resource coordinator.
