Program Details

Providence follows the Early Childhood Services Regulations under the School Act and are part of the Association of Independent Schools and Colleges in Alberta (AISCA).

Providence resources include Alberta Education certified teachers, speech- language therapists, occupational Therapists, physiotherapists, behavioral specialists and therapeutic/educational assistants all working together to provide a comprehensive educational program.

Early Intervention

This is a unique program designed for children at an early stage of their development: a time when most of their fundamental physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills are developing rapidly.

Enriched Preschool and Junior Kindergarten

These programs provides children with learning opportunities through play-based programming, small and large group educational activities, direct therapy intervention, and social skills development. We offer both small group special education programs as well as integrated programs.

Kindergarten

In Kindergarten, the focus is on all areas of a child’s learning and development. This intensive educational and therapeutic program provides stimulating and challenging activities, children build social relationships and gain independence and decision-making skills in a fun learning through play environment. We offer both small group special education programs as well as integrated programs.
